Hi! My name is Roma and I work with words. Born in Montreal, Quebec and formally educated in both English and French, I have been breathing these two languages all my life. Through years of experience working in the linguistic field, I have developed a keen sense of what it takes to be understood, in any context.

When I am not hauling wheelbarrows and chatting with vegetables in my local community garden, you can find me elbow deep in paper with a red pen in my hand (or, more often, the less romantic but just as effective electronic version of this image). I have a strong background in translation and editing for large firms and small businesses.

I will cheerfully and methodically translate, copy edit or proof your documents with an attention to detail and a commitment to quality that speaks for itself. I am comfortable with any scope of project, from acting as a second set of eyes for potential typos in that pesky email communique to handling a large-scale review of your 500-page report before it goes to press. I will revise previously translated material. I will make sure your yearly shareholder letter is flawless. I will translate your website, give existing material a face-lift, create original content, conduct meticulous consistency checks in technical documents, make your style guide my own, upgrade your resume, or make your story sing. Basically, if it has to do with words, I’m your woman.
